Welcome Nibbles! I’m so glad you came for a visit.
My name is Penny and I am your hostess during your visit. First off! What the heck is a Nibble? That’s you of course. If you are reading my blog, you are here to nibble on all things related to interior design and other eclectic conversations that I ramble on about. So often, we celebrate life’s unfolding around a delicious meal, a bottle of wine, laughter and smiling faces. The Design Bistro doors are always open to my favorite Nibblets and Nibblots. Join me in CELEBRATING and LINGERING over the delicious atmosphere of ALL THINGS DECOR related.
I AM C-R-A-Z-Y about all things design related, but I am even MORE passionate about God, my family, life and the people that I am blessed to meet along the way. You may be “lucky enough” to hear about those things and more whenever you check in. I also look forward to you sharing your experiences as well. I’ll take the good, bad and the ugly – hum, (the ugly) only if it’s constructive. I’m all about stretching and growing!
Who is the blogger/designer?
I live a simple and wonderful life as an Interior Designer, Decorator (take your pick) wife, Godmother, daughter and sister in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’ve been decorating for a living for 9 years through my studio, PCL Interiors. Primarily my focus is on residential design, renovations and remodels. Lately, I’ve expanded into light commercial design. From design consultations to larger project management, I enjoy every aspect of design. Okay, that’s not entirely true. I HATE the paperwork!!! Ugh!!! They never talk about that on HGTV, do they?! It’s a necessary evil and I’ll take it any day of the week to keep doing what I do. Besides, that’s why I like working with a small team of folks to help me out.
While I @$% the paperwork, I ENJOY writing and sharing my experiences and affection for the industry. As often as possible, I hope you will grab a glass of wine, or coffee if it’s before noon, or not (badd gurl) and nibble on The Design Bistro Blog.
(A pictures worth a thousand words…image being at any of these bistos )
La Fontaine de Mars is the known as the famous bistro in the 7th Arrondissement where President Obama went. There is a fountain right outside the restaurant that helped name this place. It is not far from the Eiffel Tower, making this a good place for a meal before/after a visit.
See the Paris Breakfast Blog for more details on La Fontaine
